ALFRED BROTHERS JR, Ph.D., of the great State of Indiana, is a retired United States Air Force officer, former B-52 aircraft commander, engineering program manager, and lifelong scholar whose leadership spans military service, government engineering, and community advancement. He made history as the first African American president of the Boy Scouts Council serving eleven Indiana counties and has served on several civic boards, including the African American Genealogical Society of Fort Wayne, and lectures with the Midwest African American Genealogy Institute. For more than twenty-five years, Dr. Brothers researched and preserved his family’s military service from his Revolutionary War ancestor Private Thomas Hazard of Massachusetts, through World War II, demonstrating a strong commitment to ancestral legacy. CARLOS M. BROWN, of the great Commonwealth of Virginia, serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative and Projects Officer, and Corporate Secretary President–Dominion Energy Services. A graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees, Mr. Brown has distinguished himself in corporate leadership, civic engagement, and philanthropy. He served as Board Chair of the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, and secretary of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. He and his wife have established and supported scholarship initiatives that expand educational opportunities and promote inclusive excellence and have contributed to efforts honoring the legacy of enslaved laborers. GOVERNOR WES MOORE, of the great State of Maryland, serves as the 63rd Governor of Maryland and made history as the state’s first Black governor in its 246-year history. A combat veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division, Governor Moore is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Oxford, where he was the first Black Rhodes Scholar in Johns Hopkins history. He is the founder of BridgeEdU, a company helping students transition to college. and former CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation. A bestselling author of The Other Wes Moore and Five Days, Governor Moore is also a proud descendant of Private Prince Ames of Andover, Massachusetts, a Revolutionary War Forgotten Patriot. BILLY THOMPSON of the great State of Florida, is a former NBA and NCAA champion and respected faith leader. At the University of Louisville, he helped lead the Cardinals to the 1986 NCAA Championship before being selected in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won an NBA Championship as a rookie. Today, Mr. Thompson serves as Senior Pastor of Jesus People Proclaim International Church, continuing a life of leadership, faith, and community impact. He is a descendant of Cremora Satterwaite Morrey, who inherited 200 acres in present-day Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, following the death of her common-law husband, Richard Morrey, son of Philadelphia’s first mayor.
